Trusting the Unfolding
1/4/2026

New beginnings do not reveal their full shape all at once. Much like the dawn, they unfold gradually — light by light, step by step. January 4th invites us to release the need to rush and to trust the process that is quietly taking place within us.
It can be tempting to measure progress too quickly, to question whether we are “doing enough” or “moving fast enough.” Yet growth rarely follows a straight line. Some days feel expansive and hopeful; others feel slow and uncertain. Both are part of becoming.
Trust is not passive. It is an active choice to believe that what is meant to grow will grow in its own time. When we ground ourselves in patience, we allow space for wisdom to guide us rather than fear. We begin to understand that delays are not denials, and pauses are not failures.
Scripture gently reminds us, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Each season has its purpose, even the quiet ones. Especially the quiet ones.
Today, resist the urge to force clarity. You do not need to have every answer yet. Allow yourself to rest in not knowing. Trust that the steps you have already taken are enough for now.
As this new year continues to unfold, remember: what is meant for you will not pass you by. It will arrive in the right moment, shaped by patience, guided by love, and supported by faith.
Today, let trust be your practice. Let peace lead the way.
